Breaking news, everyone! New Dice Masters entries were added to Wizkids’ solicits page (which can be found here).

Three items were added. The following is currently scheduled for release in June 2019.

As with other upcoming sets, this set will be divided into one campaign box and two team packs. I have no information, at this stage, on how the card and dice distribution will work for the campaign box (since, as I recently noted, they seem to be moving away from the standard format 3 cards and 3 dice per character in campaign boxes), but I’d expect the team packs to continue using the same format of 8 characters, with 3 cards and 2 dice per character.

Since my knowledge of Warhammer is very limited, I’m not very educated on what we can expect here. The names are quite telling however.

The Fracture of Biel-Tan is apparently a battle where the Eldar played a central role; it’s quite likely that they will be one of the new factions who will make an appearance. I am not sufficiently educated on this battle to know what the other faction will be, however. I also have no clue on what specific characters will appear. Perhaps some of you Warhammer fans can clue me in?

For fans of space marines, we will certainly be seeing more of them in the Blood Angels and Dark Angels team packs (since both refer to specific Space Marine factions).

As a side note, I’m certainly glad to see that Wizkids is doing something more with the Warhammer IP; it is a universe with a deep lore and tons of factions to work with. I’ll certainly be looking forward to seeing what they do with this. And honestly, I’m just excited to see that they have more sets in the pipeline after X-men Forever.
